As an Independent candidate, I stand apart from traditional political parties. My commitment lies solely with the residents of Michigan's 9th District. With a focus on integrity and accountability, I aim to reshape the political landscape by refusing large donations and putting the community first.I am running for Congress against Lisa McClain because the voices of Michigan’s people—not wealthy donors—deserve to be heard. Unlike career politicians, I refuse to take a single cent from billionaires, big corporations, or PACs. My allegiance is not to a political party but to the hardworking people of our district. As an Independent, I will fight tirelessly for our community, ensuring that our government works for us—not special interests.
I will hold monthly virtual and in-person town halls because everyone who wants to be heard will be heard. And if I don’t hear from you, I might just reach out and bug you anyway!
To keep my campaign powered by the people, I will not accept any donation over three digits—$999 is the cap for an entire year. Anything more, and I’ll send it back. I will not meet with lobbyists—if they want to buy me a drink, they have to buy everyone in my part of Michigan a drink.
It’s time for real representation that puts people first.
I was born in Detroit and have spent nearly my entire life in Macomb, with brief stays in Oak Park and Flint during my younger years. I grew up in both public schools and private education, attending Immanuel Lutheran and later Lutheran High North. My upbringing gave me a strong foundation in biblical teachings and morals—values that have stayed with me—but it is science, reason, and a commitment to truth that guide my approach to life and leadership.
I attended Oakland University before leaving after my sophomore year to work in the auto supply industry. When that industry collapsed in 2006, I went back to school and earned a degree in computer science. The journey wasn’t easy—working 80-plus hours a week under constant stress took its toll. I’ve faced my own struggles, including periods on state and federal assistance, but those experiences have only strengthened my commitment to making a difference.
Now, I am 100% rested, studied, and ready to fight for the state I love. I will work for Michigan, push to get money out of politics, and serve with integrity—retiring after two terms because public service should be about the people, not a career.
I’m not a career politician—I’m just a regular guy who wants to do right by Michigan. I’ve been divorced, I have three awesome dogs, and when I’m not fighting for real change, you’ll probably find me riding my Kawasaki Versys, enjoying the open road and the freedom that comes with it.
I don’t want to make this a lifetime gig. Two terms—that’s all I’m promising. I’ll fight to get money out of politics, restore integrity in Congress, and put Michigan first. Then, I’ll step aside. Unless you, the people, truly believe we’re on the right path and demand that I stay, I’ll keep my word and move on.
Let’s just try something new. Like Trump once said, "What have you got to lose?" We’ve tried the same old corrupt system for too long. It’s time for real representation. Let’s take this shot and see what happens.
As an Independent Candidate for Congress in Michigan's 9th District, I am fueled by a deep love for my community and its people. Each day, I wake up inspired by the values that bind us together, transcending the divisions often depicted in the media. I believe that together, we can pave the way for a brighter future where every voice is heard, and every citizen feels valued.
My three dogs are not just pets; they are family members who bring joy and companionship to my life. They remind me daily of the importance of loyalty, love, and the simple pleasures that bring us together as a community. Just as I care for my dogs, I am committed to caring for the people of our district—ensuring that everyone has a voice and a chance to thrive.
There's nothing quite like the freedom of the open road on my little Kawasaki 300. Riding helps me clear my mind and connect with the beautiful landscapes of Michigan. Each ride is a reminder of why I fight for our community—because I want to protect and cherish this incredible state. Together, let's ride toward a future filled with opportunity and unity.
Living in Macomb, I have been fortunate to meet so many amazing individuals who exemplify the spirit of resilience and cooperation. Despite the narratives of division, I see people coming together to support one another every day. It’s this spirit that drives me to run for office—to ensure that our shared values shine brighter than our differences, and to advocate for policies that uplift everyone in our district.
Lisa McClain has failed Michigan. She stood on the floor of Congress and lied to the American people, falsely crediting Donald Trump with taking out Bin Laden—a blatant rewrite of history that disrespects the truth and the intelligence of every voter. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
McClain doesn’t put Michigan first—she puts MAGA, Trump, Israel, and even Saudi Arabia ahead of the hard-working people in our state. She would rather revive the disastrous drug war than address the root causes of addiction and suffering in our communities. While Michigan families struggle to afford gas, groceries, and healthcare, she’s busy serving billionaires and foreign interests.
And let’s not forget—she defends a man with a long history of preying on women while being a mother to daughters herself. How can we trust someone who looks the other way on issues of basic morality and decency?
This isn’t about party politics—it’s about basic human values. I don’t care if you’re a Republican, Democrat, or Independent—if there was a fire and you saw a child in danger, you wouldn’t stop to ask who their parents voted for. You’d act. Because that’s what we do in Michigan. We look out for each other.
We’re the doorwall-sliding, Canada-slang-using, hard-working, no-nonsense goofballs who believe in fairness and honesty. We deserve better than Lisa McClain. We deserve a representative who fights for our voices—not for the highest bidder. Let’s put an end to the tribalism, the lies, and the corruption. It’s time to be Americans first and bring real representation back to Michigan.
Together, we can redefine what it means to serve in Congress. Your support is crucial in empowering a voice for integrity and transparency representing Michigan's hardworking residents.
